Overview Different manufacturers have different systems. One reason we can keep our prices so low is that we avoid holding stock. Therefore the likelihood is that your goods will have to be ordered from the manufacturer.
When shipping abroad all goods have to come to us before being sent on by UPS or Royal Mail.
Please note that we and our suppliers operate on a best endeavour basis - but we have not found a shipper that is 100% reliable! |

Shipping - Sanders Sanders and Sanders will ship direct to UK customers using DHL and UK Customers can hope to receive them within two working days. If you order before 10am the shoes should be despatched that day - provided that Sanders have them in stock. If they are not in stock we shall advise you by email as soon as we are informed.
Urgent orders can be despatched by DHL Diamond Service which should be delivered to most areas in UK by 10 am next day - there is a small premium for this. Please always phone to ensure that the service is avialble in your area |

Loakes do however have an online ordering system which is normally available 24/7. Therefore if you have an urgent requirement you can telephone us and we can check whether any particular style of shoes are available in your size.
Occasionally Loakes can be persuaded to send a pair of shoes direct to a UK customer, in which case they are despatched by DHL.

Royal Mail International Signed For Royal Mail states "If you use International Signed For with Airmail delivery our target time is within three working days to Western Europe, four working days to Eastern Europe and five working days for the rest of the world.......We track all International Signed For items until they leave the UK and then the item is handed over to the destination country's postal service as a priority item. However, we can’t track your International Signed For item all the way to delivery in every instance or always be able to provide a confirmation of delivery. "
However, this needs to be taken with a ton of salt - as the times are only target times and an item is not even investigated if it is reported missing until 20 Working Days have elapsed.
In our experience the target times are only met in about 50% of cases and many customers wait 20 days. Having said that, so far, every item has arrived at the destination within 30 days.

BFPO Transit Times The BFPO handles an enormous number of parcels a day and it is difficult for us to get any information out of them unless your parcel is seriously late.
Generally speaking shoes ordered from Sanders will be at the BFPO depot within two working days. Shoes from Loakes and Grenson can take a day or two longer. Once in the BFPO system it can take five or more working days. |
